Paros island is located in the center of the Aegean Sea and the Cyclades cluster. The smooth terrain and the good road network allows easy access to numerous beautiful sandy beaches.
It is one of the most charming islands, with mountainous traditional villages (Lefkes, Marpissa) with scenic cafes beneath mulberry trees, and many seaside fishing villages (Naoussa, Ampelas, Piso Livadi, Drios) with graphic little ports. The beaches are numerous and beautiful, and the visitor has many choices every day. Paros also has monuments and attractions such as Panagia Ektontapyliani, a famous old church, Archaeological Museum in Paroikia, the Venetian castle and the folklore museum in Naoussa and ancient quarries, from where the famous Parian marble was taken.
In the summertime many places of the island organize events, feasts, concerts and experiential cultural festivals (eg. Routes in Marpissa, Pirates feast in Naousa).
Within ten minutes by ferry boat from Pounda port there is the island of Antiparos, with beautiful beaches, a lot of restaurants and nightlife. From Paros island are organized daily cruises to Mykonos and small Cyclades.
Paros is 95 nautical miles away from Piraeus port of Athens and it is connected daily in the summer by 6-10 itineraries of conventional and high speed boats, which makes the trip to Paros very easy and quick. The journey time is 4 hours and 15 minutes from Piraeus by conventional boats and 2 hours and 30 minutes by catamaran. It is also connected with the port of Lavrio and Rafina. It has an airport with three daily flights from El. Venizelos airport in Athens. The flight lasts 25 minutes. In the summer of 2016 the new airport of Paros started to operate with more flights.

Paros island has many famous beaches like Santa Maria (just 5′ from our villas), Kolimpithres and Monastiri, Golden Beach, Pounda, Piso Livadi, Drios, but also more quiet ones like Lagkeri, Filizi, Aliki, Farangas, Ampelas etc. Most of them are sandy and easy to reach by car.
Paros is famoys for windsurf and kitesurf and there are specific beaches like Santa Maria and Golden beach for these sports.
